The Auspicious Seed of Shahrullaah

When the thought of land, agriculture, crops, grains comes to our minds, the question of seed naturally arises. Without it, the creation of the universe is not possible and the existence of land becomes non-existence. Everything begins with a seed/cell/sperm. By divine nature and its unique system, a thing that is as small as a spore, gradually changes its shape and grows bigger according to the genes, season, land or environment. It assumes its original and mature form at a certain time, from which other seeds of its genus and lineage are born. Accordingly, the existence of that thing remains in the world in one form or another.

In Qur'an e Kareem the word "seed", which is called "habbat", is mentioned in various Surahs . It is said that, Allaah Ta'aala, hides the seed in the darkness of the earth. If a person does a good deed equal to a mustard seed, Allaah Ta'aala will surely reward him for it. If a person plants a seed in the earth, Allaah Ta'aala will cause seven stalks of grain to grow from it. If there are 100 grains in each of these, it is like a servant who does a good deed, Allaah Ta'aala will reward him with double/fourfold the reward of His bounty. Just as a cluster of grains is hidden in its stalk, similarly Allaah Ta'aala hides the reward of His servant, which He reveals when the time comes.

In another sermon it is stated that, “O believers! You should prepare for the Hereafter while living in this temporary world”. According to this, the person who toils in this manner, his fate-destiny would be surely exalted. Now, if you work only for the sake (getting luxuries) of this world, your Lord will surely give you according to your hard work, but you will not have any good fortune in the Hereafter. It indicates that the cultivation of the Hereafter is more beneficial than this world. The reward for our toiling in worldly affairs is limited to this life alone but the reward of striving for good deeds remains till the Hereafter.

It is stated in the Book of Hikmat that Allaah Ta'aala has settled us in the land of the Prophethood of Rasoolullaah SAWS. It is commanded to cultivate goodness in it. The best of deeds in this world is the Ma'refat-recognition and Mahabbat-love of Maulaana Ali Ameer ul Mumineen AS, the noble successor of the Nabi saheb. If we want to benefit from this land (life) in the best possible way, we will have to sow the blessed seed of the Walaayat (guardianship) of M. Ali in it. Just as a seed needs fertilizer, water, sunlight and air to grow properly, we will have to take the support of Tawakkul, Shukr, Sabr and Haqq to keep this seed lively. Only then will the other seeds planted in that land flourish properly and be useful.

It is narrated that if a person sows the seed of love and Walaayat of Maulaana Ali Ameer ul Mumineen AS in the soil of his heart in this world and preserves it at all times, then by its Barakat Allaah Ta'aala, will grow for him in the Hereafter a blessed green, fragrant, full-fledged, fruitful, and radiant tree like the Tubaa tree in Paradise, under whose shade that person will receive all kinds of blessings. A whole group of angels will be placed in specially at his service. On the contrary, the person who sows the seed of hatred and anger will be cursed and will be caught in the severe punishment of a thorny, bitter tree in Hell. He will not benefit from the hard work of his worldly affairs.

Aqaa Maulaa Saiyedna saheb TUS says that, "Shahrullaah il-Mo'azzam is the blessed month of Forgiveness. Only through this we can get from Allaah Ta'aala His mercy-rahmat and ne'maat-eternal bounties. Maghferat-seeking pardon from all our sins is a priceless seed that will sprout into an evergreen and shadowy tree giving us peace and refuge from all misfortunes. Its unparallel reward is like delicious fruits and attractive flowers that we will get for the efforts in protecting this special tree. O Mumineen! Control yourselves in every walk of your life. Your Quality of Fasting will depend on the Purity of your heart, tongue, eyes and hands. Fasting coupled with Namaaz is the best form of Ibaadat."

Ghusl Sticker

There are two types of ghusl-washing of body, the obligatory (compulsory) ones (farz) and the recommended ones (sunnat). There are seven obligatory ritual baths. The ritual bath should be preceded by Istinjaa and wuzu. While doing wuzu you should take the name of the ghusl for which you are purifying yourself. Certain important guidelines are set by our Imaams for all types of ghusl which should be followed strictly.

First the impurity should be removed from the private parts with water and thereafter water should be poured freely over the whole body. The hands should be used to cleanse that part of body, where they can reach. No part of the body should remain dry and being not washed by water and massaged by the hand. Water should reach the skin underneath the hairs. You should turn your bracelet or a ring or any other ornament so that water reaches the skin beneath it. Maulaana Ali (AS) said, 'If one has dealt with the whole of the body, rubbed it with the hands, washed away every kind of uncleanness and poured water on the hairs so that it has reached the skin underneath it, and has performed Istinjaa and wuzu prior to ghusl, then, indeed, he has purified himself.'

This Shahrullaah from Devdi Mubaarak mumineen will get the printed sticker having details of different Ghusl with its names and rules in Gujarati.  At the ba-barakat adaayegi of Shahrullaah Huqooq, along with the Safaai card mumineen will get this sticker and for its optimum use it should be placed on the hammaam-khaana wall.  During Ghusl every family member should follow the instructions to fulfill all aspects of purity before going for Namaaz.
